Artificial Turf

A Brief Look at Artificial Turf

Pays for itself in 3-5 years

6 billion gallons of water were conserved through the use of artificial grass in 2018.

55 gallons of water saved per year for every square foot of grass replaced with artificial grass.

Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well. The main reason is maintenance—artificial turf stands up to heavy use, such as in sports, and requires no irrigation or trimming. Since the early 1990's, the use of synthetic grass lawns in the more arid western states has moved beyond athletic fields to residential and commercial landscaping.

What Turf Do We Use?

Fescue Supreme is our primary turf and is one of the tallest, lushest and most durable artificial grass products on the market today. It uses the latest technology in yarn extrusion. The Double Diamond-shaped blade is designed for superior memory - a key characteristic for this nearly 2.4" tall (60mm), 108 oz face weight product. It is a de-lustered fiber so there is no shine. It is a very natural looking olive bi-color grass with an olive green and brown thatch.

Arizona Platinum - Olive Artificial Lawn Grass is an excellent, high quality, very natural looking artificial lawn product. It stands 2" tall with an 84 oz face-weight. Purchase Green's Arizona Platinum - Olive Artificial Lawn Grass is designed for the customer that wants an exceptionally natural lawn grass look while balancing durability and texture.

What About My Pets?

We understand pet owners have different needs. Artificial grass helps keep the dirt and mud off your pets no matter what the weather is like outside. No muddy paws means no mud tracked in the house. No more digging holes in the yard, and getting dirt all over the place. Drainage? Let it rain! Water (or any other liquid) drains right through at a rate up to 90-inches per hour. With no standing water your pets will be able to use the area right after the storm. We also use odor controlling top-dressing (sometimes referred to as infill) for each pet installation reducing 80% of the odors caused by the ammonia in pet waste.

What does this mean for you?

When we give you an estimate for Artificial Turf we are offering some of the best turf on the market! It's time to get rid of your old and unappealing lawn and replace it with some quality artificial turf!
